City of Miami Police are celebrating a big bust while executing a search warrant related to a local theft ring. Last night the department revealed nearly a million dollars worth of stolen merchandise and drugs uncovered at a home near Northwest 24th Avenue and 15th Street.
Included in the department's haul were large quantities of cocaine, cash, and guns...there was even alcohol and freezers full of meat and lobsters.
Officers were not expecting to come across the hundreds of thousands of dollars in stolen property they believe was being shoplifted and resold across South Florida. The suspect arrested for runnning this shady operation is facing charges that range from armed drug trafficking to retail theft.
