Plantation, FL - A Florida woman has been arrested for possessing child pornography and sexually abusing her dog.
Authorities say 33-year-old Angela Marcella Rio was arrested in mid-October after police received multiple tips that she was uploading child sexual abuse material to the internet.
During their investigation, police also uncovered a series of chats between Rio and men online in which she fantasized about drowning and raping children.
They also found a video on her phone of her sexually abusing her dog.
Rio has pleaded not guilty to all charges and is currently being held in Broward County Jail.
Her attorney, A. Randall Haas, said in a statement that he intends to "aggressively" defend her in court.
Rio's next court hearing is scheduled for January of 2024.
