(San Salvador) - The winner of the 2023 Miss Universe pageant is Miss Nicaragua.
Sheynnis Palacios was crowned Miss Universe at Saturday night's pageant in El Salvador.
Miss Thailand, Anntonia Porsild, was named first runner-up, and Moraya Wilson of Australia was second runner-up.

his year's swimsuit round included the first "curvy' contestant, Miss Nepal, and the first contestant to choose a burkini as their swimsuit, Miss Pakistan.
