An abandoned four-plex two-story building in Miami scheduled to be demolished has collapsed as a result of the weather. Miami Fire Rescue Captain Ignatius Carroll says a search and rescue team from Task Force 2 is being deployed to the area in between 18 and 19th ave and NW 3rd street to look for a person experiencing homelessness who is known to frequent the area and the building.
They have not been able to find him. Carroll says two families are displaced with debris falling onto their neighboring homes. No injuries are reported. to those families.
