A wild scene along the Florida Turnpike in Southwest Miami-Dade. Three people are in custody after a high-speed chase with dozens of Florida Highway Patrol troopers in pursuit of a U-HAUL van.
Florida Highway Patrol was called in to assist Homestead Police in a theft case. Officer say the suspects stole merchandise from a Kohl's store, and then rammed an officer's cruiser.
The chase ended when police crashed into the van, and the suspects bailed. One tried to jump off the overpass but police were able to pull him back to avoid the 30 foot drop.
