Stabbing At Palm Beach Prison Was Second Such Incident Since September

For a second time in as many months, there has been a stabbing at a western Palm Beach County prison. Fire Rescue units were dispatched to the South Bay Correctional Facility on U.S. Highway 27 Sunday afternoon and found three people with stab wounds.

Two were airlifted to a nearby trauma center and the third was taken by ambulance.

It's unknown whether the victims were inmates. The Sheriff's Office is investigating.

The private prison was also home to a stabbing incident in September in which two people were injured at the lock-up that imprisons around 2,000 men.
