The 1200 building where 17 students and staffers were gunned down at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in 2018 will stand at least through this school year.
The building will be demolished over the coming Summer.
Broward County Public Schools officials say the building will be cleared and thoroughly cleaned before demolition in order to comply with state and Environmental Protection Agency regulations for landfill disposal.
