The Florida Democratic Party is mobilizing around the state for National Voter Registration Day.

The party has deployed more than 400 volunteers to more than 60 voter registration events across the state to help sign up potential voters.

Events are being held in Tallahassee, Miami, Palm Beach, Tampa, Jacksonville and Pensacola.

As it stands, according to the Florida Division of Elections, of the 14 million total registered voters, there are 5.2-million Republicans, 4.6 million Democrats and 3.8 million No Party Affiliation voters registered in the state of Florida.

However, Republicans are outnumbered by both independents and Democrats in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties.
