New information has been learned about a construction accident at a South Florida hospital.
Boca Raton Fire Rescue says a worker was impaled and pinned under a partial wall that collapsed while work was underway on an expansion project at Baptist Health Boca Raton Regional Hospital.
It happened around 9 a.m. Tuesday at the medical facility that is close to FAU.
A rescue basket had to be used to pull the injured worker to the ground. He was airlifted to Delray Medical Center as a trauma alert.
OSHA is investigating.
