Heat alerts are up across the entire state of Florida today as the summer heat wave continues. Miami Waterkeeper's Dr. Rachel Silverstein says this disturbing trend is unprecedented. North, South, Southwest and Central Florida are all under heat warnings through 7 o'clock tonight. Highs will be in the mid to upper 90's, but with the humidity, it'll feel like it's 114-degrees or hotter. The extreme heat can lead to fish and coral reef kills along with flooding, fires and drought. Stay indoors and hydrated as much as possible.
