Alleged Pimp Arrested After Woman Falls into Human Trafficking Trap

Miami Beach, FL - A woman from Texas, who had previously suffered abuse from her former "pimp," found herself entangled in a human trafficking situation in Miami Beach.

Police say Wynston Fleming, the victim's alleged "pimp," coerced the woman into prostitution after deceiving her with promises of a better life.

The victim initially encountered Fleming in 2014 when she was employed as a stripper.

Despite escaping from Fleming twice before, the woman reconnected with him through social media, where he falsely claimed to have changed and offered the woman support.

The victim agreed to travel to South Florida under the impression that Fleming would assist her in establishing an online boutique and securing housing for her son.

Upon arrival, the victim was forced into engaging in prostitution and compelled to turn over her earnings to Fleming.

Adding to the victim's distress, Fleming refused to return the woman's 13-year-old son until she complied with his demands.

The victim reached out to emergency services to report the situation.

Miami Beach police intervened, rescuing the victim's son and reuniting them.

The victim told police that when she expressed her desire to escape the exploitative situation, Fleming resorted to threatening her with a return to his violent ways, telling the woman “I’ve changed. I don’t hit my [expletive] anymore, but you are going to make me go back to my old ways.”

Flemin has been arrested on three felony charges.
