Murder Trial For FSU Standout Travis Rudolph Still In Jury Selection Mode

Jury selection is taking longer than expected in the first degree murder trial of former Florida State star wide receiver Travis Rudolph.

Born and raised in West Palm Beach and attending Cardinal Newman High School, Rudolph is accused of shooting to death one of four men who confronted him at his Lake Park home just over two years ago.

Police say he fired 40 shots at a vehicle, striking two men. One died and the other was wounded.

There is still a pool of about six dozen jurors who have not been excused, but attorneys on both sides say opening statements could be given as soon as Tuesday.
