Victim Fights Off Armed Robbers During Brutal Home Invasion

Homestead, FL - A man who was lured to a South Florida home for a meetup with a woman became the victim of an armed robbery last week.

On Friday, 25-year-old Halli Conley lured a man to a Homestead home where he was ambushed by two armed individuals intent on robbing him.

According to police, the incident occurred on Friday when Conley invited the victim to a residence on Northwest Ninth Court in Homestead.

Unbeknownst to the victim, Conley had arranged for two other men to be present.

Upon entering the bedroom, the victim discovered 36-year-old Isaia Perez sitting on a chair.

Conley left the room and returned with a second man, identified as 35-year-old Rafael Ciprian, who brandished a gun and threatened to kill the man while demanding he hand over his belongings.

Fearfully complying, the victim handed over $400 and his Android phone to Ciprian.

Ciprian attempted to shoot the victim, but the gun malfunctioned, potentially saving the victim's life.

Seizing the opportunity, the victim retrieved his own firearm and fired a shot, striking Perez in the arm.

A violent struggle ensued, with Ciprian pistol-whipping the victim while Perez and Conley joined in by punching him.

During the chaos, the victim managed to shoot Ciprian in the foot.

Desperate to escape, he pleaded with Ciprian to let him go, but received a chilling response: "You're going to die."

Adding to the horror, Conley stabbed the victim with an unidentified object.

The victim managed to break free from his attackers and escaped the home.

Ciprian, Conley and Perez were arrested on charges of armed robbery, attempted murder, and false imprisonment.
