For the first time in history, the University of Miami and Florida Atlantic University men's basketball teams are going to the NCAA March Madness Final Four in Houston tomorrow night. Sports reporter Dave Hyde says this really is two Cinderella stories,but seemed completely improbable for the ninth-seed FAU Owls. The "U" has been to two straight Elite Eights, but both South Florida teams are underdogs. If FAU can romp fifth-seed San Diego State and fifth-seed Miami can best fourth-seed U-CONN, the two South Florida schools will square off against each other for the national championship Monday.
