The Martin County Sheriff's Office says they have a confession from a 75-year old man accused of murdering his elderly neighbors over an ongoing dispute.

HOA rules appear to be behind that dispute as Hugh Hootman allegedly shot Ginger and Henry Wallace after his wife was yelled at by one of the victims over a laundry door that was left open. Hootman's wife called 911 after the shooting. That 911 call was released on Tuesday.

"My husband just shot two people and I believe he killed them."

The woman told the dispatcher that Hootman was in his "easy chair" and that the gun was disassembled outside the apartment.

Investigators say 81-year old Ginger Wallace was the HOA president at the Cedar Pointe condos in Stuart and that her husband Henry, also 81, had yelled at Hootman's wife. She told the dispatcher that her husband had demanded the Wallaces apologize to her. That apology never came.

Hootman wrote an apology while speaking with detectives and officials say that will be used as a confession.
