First responders can now sail free on the Margaritaville-at-Sea cruise ship that runs from the Port of Palm Beach to Grand Bahama Island.

"It's our Heroes Sail Free program for all first responders, law enforcement, military-active and veteran, teachers, healthcare workers...anyone who can be verified on the GovX platform."

The cruise line's Amanda Travaglini describes that as an e-commerce site for servicemen and women, as well as government employees.

The sign-up for these free cruises just started on Wednesday and the first heroes are setting sail now.

"They get the opportunity to come on and experience all of the wonderful things that we have to offer on Margaritaville-at-Sea and our ship to paradise."

It's a Jimmy Buffett-themed cruise with features like the "Par-a-Dice" Casino and the "Five O'Clock Somewhere" Bar and Grill.

Amanda explains the importance of this program.

"They're round-the-clock fighting for us and making sure that our communities are safe and that we're well-protected so they deserve a few days off just like everybody else and maybe even more so."

The offer applies to the registered member and is good on an inside cabin or ocean-view stateroom.
