It's Election Day for residents of 19 Palm Beach County municipalities.

In Wellington, there are two Village Council races and you can hear from the candidates for Seat 3 Here.

Seat 2 Incumbent Tanya Siskind is running for what would be a second full-four year term, after being appointed in 2016 and getting elected to her first full term in 2018.

Siskind touts community partnerships during her time on the dais, as well as her work to keep taxes low.

Like Incumbent John McGovern in the village's other race, Siskind contends that with three council seats opening up due to term limits in two years, now is not the time for change.

She faces two challengers, including Karen Morris-Clarke, a business owner with experience in both real estate and travel. Improving the safety of Wellington's roadways is a key campaign promise and Morris-Clarke says she also plans to advocate for a small business directory and workshops to help business owners succeed.

Tony Nelson is Siskind's other challenger. He is the president of a medical clinic that partnered with the village to run a COVID testing site.

He's also the grandfather of a Black teen who he claims was racially profiled by a resident of his community when the man yelled at her while she and some friends were riding in a golf cart near Nelson's home. She was told by the resident that she doesn't belong in the development in a video that went viral. That was one of the things that he says made him decide to run for the Village Council.

Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
