Miami gun store robbed of $90K, including AR-15’s and AK-47’s

A Miami gun store was robbed by a former employee who allegedly stole $90,000 worth of guns, jewlery and merchandise.

Jessica Grande owns two businesses in the Miami area - Miami Shooters Supply on 23rd Avenue and Big Brothers Pawn and Gun on 26th Avenue.

On November 19th, surveillance cameras inside Big Brothers Pawn and Gun captured a suspect carrying a large bag into a truck containing dozens of stolen assault rifles; including AR-15’s and AK-47’s.

When she found the store empty, Grande texted her employees informing them of the robbery and asking if anyone knew anything about it.

According to Grande, one employee replied he knew who was behind the crime.

Grande tells WSVN “he shoot me a text back and he told me, ‘no we didn’t get robbed it was me.”

A review of surveillance footage captured the employee in the store just before the crime was committed.

Grande says the footage shows the employee’s guilt, telling WSVN “you know it shows in the video where he disconnects the cameras, because just I guess he didn’t want to see everything he was taking.”

Grande says her concern right now is to make sure the stolen assault rifles don’t end up on the street.

“We are afraid that they just end up in the wrong hands.”
