A grocery store employee in Keene, New Hampshire, has been arrested for allegedly urinating on food products and filming the acts over a four-year period. Kelli Tedford, 23, was taken into custody after an anonymous tip led police to disturbing videos she had posted online. The videos showed her contaminating items at the Monadnock Food Co-Op with her urine, according to the Keene Police Department.

The investigation began on February 14 when police received the tip. They worked with the Monadnock Food Co-Op and the Keene Health Department to identify and remove affected products, which included various types of quinoa, cornmeal, polenta, coconut shreds, and raw walnuts. The store issued a voluntary recall and sanitized all surfaces. The financial loss from destroyed merchandise and cleaning costs exceeded $1,500.

Authorities discovered additional videos indicating that similar incidents occurred in Keene and surrounding communities as early as 2021. Tedford has been charged with criminal mischief, a class B felony, and was released on personal recognizance bail. She is scheduled for arraignment on April 7 at the 8th Circuit Court in Keene.

The Monadnock Food Co-Op emphasized that no fresh produce, meat, seafood, prepared foods, or refrigerated products were affected. The store is reviewing its security measures to prevent future incidents. The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges against Tedford may be filed.
