Buffalo Bills wide receiver Amari Cooper has been ruled out for Sunday's (November 3) game against the Miami Dolphins, the team announced prior to kickoff.

Cooper, who was acquired in a trade with the Cleveland Browns on October 15, was included on the inactives list along with safety Mike Edwards, linebacker Nick Morrow, fullback Reggie Gilliam, cornerback Christian Benford, interior lineman Will Clapp and defense end Zion Logue.

Cooper, 30, recorded five receptions for 69 yards and one touchdowns in two appearances for the Bills since the trade, while rookie wide receiver Keon Coleman and third-year receiver Khalil Shakir have seen an increase in productivity while sharing the field with him.

The Bills are Cooper's third NFL team in the last four seasons, having been acquired by the Browns in 2022 as part of an offseason trade with the Dallas Cowboys. The former University of Alabama standout was selected by the then-Oakland Raiders at No. 4 overall in the 2015 NFL Draft and has been selected as a Pro Bowler five times, at least once with all three franchise, including last season.

Cooper did, however, see his production dip in 2024, having been limited to 24 receptions for 250 yards and two touchdowns through his first six games amid Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson's struggles prior to the trade.
