Sportscaster Kay Adams laughed off rumors that she's dating New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones amid speculation stemming from a recent interview.
Adams, 38, the host of FanDuel TV's Up & Adams program, was interviewing Giants offensive guard Jermaine Eluemunor when she addressed the rumors tying her to Jones, 27, after she stuttered during an interview with the quarterback last month.
“You gotta protect your boy, my boy, [who] the world [and] internet thinks [is] my boy,” Adams said.
“I’ve seen it, I know what you’re talking about,” Eluemunor responded, referencing several TikTok posts.
“I don’t want to talk about it,” Adams added. “A girl can’t win. I’m trying to hype up your boy.”
“Daniel’s a good-looking guy," Eluemunor said about his teammate.
“Is he keeping that beard?" Adams said, referring to Jones' new facial hair he sported during training camp.
Adams concluded the interview with Eluemunor by discussing the Giants' Week 1 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings and said, "I believe in you. Go protect my boyfriend."
Adams spoke with Jones at the Giants' training camp last month and appeared to be stuttering while discussing the upcoming football season and his personal interests, as well as joking that she was "tasked" at making him keep his new beard with "any influence" she has.
“I’m a little worried,” Adams said while fidgeting with her note cards during the interview. “I’m trying to find some drama here for Giants fans.”
Jones is, however, reported to be in a relationship with Ella Bonafede, a lacrosse player at his alma matter, Duke University, while Adams' relationship status isn't publicly known.
