(Milwaukee, WI) -- The Heat won their playoff opener, but they lost a key player in the process.

Miami beat the Bucks, 130-117, yesterday in Milwaukee in Game One of their first-round NBA playoff series. Starting forward Tyler Herro, though, broke his hand in the first half and did not return. Jimmy Butler carried the team with 35 points and 11 assists. Head coach Erik Spoelstra says Herro will not be available, but he didn't discuss his long-term status.

Game Two is set for Wednesday in Milwaukee.
