The nation's longest running boat parade sets sail out of South Florida tonight. The 59th annual Pompano Beach Holiday Boat Parade began with a handful of vessels, tonight at least 50 will set off from Lake Santa Barbara north to Sullivan Park decked out in holiday lights and decorations. Chamber Ceo Jean McIntyre says they didn't cancel the parade because of the pandemic last year but they did livestream it and they will continue to do so this year. Saturday marks the return of Ft. Lauderdale's Winterfest Boat Parade, celebrating it's 50th anniversary after going virtual last year.
