Five Killed After Gunman Opens Fire Inside A Florida Bank

Less than an hour after the Biden administration imposed a new mandatory COVID-19 vaccination rule for employees who work for companies with 100 or more employees, effective January 4th, the state of Florida promised legal action. Governor DeSantis said "individuals should make informed choices about their own health care. They shouldn't have to be coerced into getting a jab. In this situation, you're gonna have people, they'll have to choose, do you get fired from your job?" Attorney General Ashley Moody said she’s readying a multistate lawsuit against the Biden administration. 

In other news, on Thursday, 1,784 new COVID-19 cases were reported. Florida’s weekly trend continues to decline.COVID-19 hospitalizations are also falling. Forty fewer Floridians are hospitalized with the virus today leaving 1,825 people hospitalized statewide.

Universal Orlando is offering a buy one get one free offer to Floridians. Now through December 16th Florida residents who buy a regular priced ticket will get a second for free.
