Florida reported 10,162 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, that's the fewest since July 20th. As for COVID-19 hospitalizations, they fell by another 159 patients on Tuesday totaling 13,292 Floridians currently hospitalized

In other news, the state isn’t officially issuing grades for schools for the 2020-2021 school year due to the pandemic, however, if they had, up to a third of all Palm Beach County Schools would have received a “D” or “F” last year based on student performance. Broward’s schools would have been on the same boat with up to half of their schools. Declines also occurred with top-performing schools with about 75% fewer “A” rated schools.

Lastly, Governor DeSantis publicly addressed speculation he may run for president in 2024. When asked by a reporter about whether he’s considering a run he said, “I hear all this stuff and honestly it’s nonsense. All the speculation about me is purely manufactured.
