The pandemic may be hurting your bank account, but not if you're a billionaire.;
According to a new report, the wealth of the 643 richest people in America grew from $2.9-trillion to $3.8-trillion over the past six-months. That's an increase of 29%.
Times have been particularly good for some high-profile billionaires. Tesla founder Elon Musk's wealth increased by 273% to $92 billion.
The year 2020 has been very good for Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. His wealth rose by $73.2 billion to $113 billion.
The Institute for Policy Studies, a left-leaning think-tank, and Americans for Tax Fairness released the updated figures.
