MSNBC Ready To Fill Chris Matthew's Time Slot

MSNBC finally has their man or, in this case, their woman.

The left-leaning network is expected to name Joy Reid the anchor of their 7 p.m. daily show.

Reid will replace Chris Matthews, who resigned abruptly back in March.

Reid would kick off a nighttime lineup that includes Rachel Maddow and Chris Hayes.

Reid has been at the network for years, most recently hosting "A.M. Joy."

The Wall Street Journal says Reid is still negotiating with the network but a formal announcement is expected soon.
