Musk Tweets Sales Figures For New Tesla Truck

Elon Musk unveiled Tesla's new Cybertruck last week to a lot of fanfare and even some broken glass.

The online reaction was, at best, mixed, but Musk may be laughing all the way to the bank.

Musk tweeted that 200,000 of the stainless steel trucks have been ordered online, with no advertising and no paid endorsement.

The electric-powered truck is made from the same material as Musk's SpaceX rockets and has been compared to a ramped-up Delorean.

On Sunday, Muskl posted another tweet showing his Cybertruck towing a Ford F-150 up a hill, demonstrating the torque and power that are available in his pickup.

Musk also said that the Cybertruck was their "last product unveil for a while" put teased some "unexpected technology" announcements are coming in 2020.
