Gordon Ormond is happy in his mugshot. Why is he happy? We have no idea because after a low speed chase in Pasco County he was arrested for his 5th DUI. Officers started to follow him when he ran a red light and ignored their signals to pull over. He drove erratically into a basketball hoop and sped up to a "fast" 35 mph in a failed attempt to lose the officers. The chase finally ended when he drove his work van over spike strips.
Ormond is said to have admitted to officers that he was driving with a suspended license. It turns out it is his 12th arrest for driving with a suspended license. All in all, he was charged with a DUI, driving with a suspended license, leaving the scene of an accident, fleeing to elude and failure to submit to a breath test. He was released on a $10,000 bail.
