When actress turned activist Alyssa Milano Tweeted that Texas Senator Ted Cruz should sit down with her to talk about gun rights when she was in Washington, she never expected him to say yes. She was wrong.
Yesterday afternoon, Cruz and Milano (along with two other activists on the actress' side) sat down for well over an hour to talk about gun rights. You can watch the entire 'debate' below.
Afterwards, Cruz Tweeted that he was happy for the chance to sit down and talk with Milano.
As for the actress, she told CNN that she was "optimistic" about the chances for gun reform, and said the Texas Senator was "gracious" throughout their entire meeting.
