How Old is Too Old for Presidential Politics?

How old is too old to run for president?

According to a survey conducted by StudyFinds.org, 72 years old is the average age at which Americans think a presidential candidate is too old to run for office.

That's bad news for President Donald Trump, who is 73, former Vice President Joe Biden, who is 76, and Senator Bernie Sanders, who is 77. Even Elizabeth Warren is close to the cutoff point at age 70.

So what is the ideal age for a presidential candidate? The average is just 48.

Nine in ten respondents agreed that the ideal age for a presidential candidate was between 35 and 55 years old.
