City leaders in Modesto, California are considering a permit for a "Straight Pride" parade.
The event is tentatively set for August 24th.
According to a flyer, the march would celebrate heterosexuality, babies "born and unborn," Christianity, and "Western Civilization."
Some members of the City Council said the permit request should be denied because the event is basically a white pride march.
