New Rules Approved To Clamp Down on Spring Break

The City of Miami Beach is adopting new rules it hopes will control the party during spring break.

Bars will face stiffer penalties for serving underage drinkers and the city won't issue business licenses to promoters during the busiest times of the year.

The new rules also grant emergency powers to the city manager to help control any chaos.

Videos of rowdy spring break antics went viral this year, and the city wants spring breakers to know that kind of behavior won't be tolerated.
