The Florida Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is hosting a free educational event this Saturday. All blood cancer patients, survivors, family members, caregivers and healthcare professionals are welcomed to attend.
There will be keynotes on, "Managing the Emotional Rollercoaster" and "Surviving the Cure to Live Well After Cancer Treatment." There will also be breakout sessions surrounding Myeloma and Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma.
Experts from The University of Miami Health System, The Cleveland Clinic, Memorial Healthcare System and The Miami Cancer Institute are scheduled to speak.
Special guests and sponsors include; Amgen, Walgreens, Dr. Asher Khan, Dr. Talia Zahra, and cancer education advocate and iHeart Media On-Air Host, Nathalie Rodriguez.
