A Pompano Beach community is left devastated after finding a beloved Canadian couple dead inside their mobile home.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office said the victim's neighbors in Golf View Estates grew concerned when they didn't see 80-year-old Marc Gagne and his 78-year-old wife Rita for several days. One resident knocked on their door to check, that's when the horrific discovery was made.
The Gagnes were from Saint-Come-Liniere, about an hour and a half outside of Quebec City. They split their time between Florida and Canada.
