President Trump in Vietnam for Second North Korean Summit

(Hanoi) -- President Trump arrived in Vietnam this morning tweeting out a thank you to the people of Hanoi for their warm welcome. The stage is set for the President's second summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Air Force One touched down at the airport in Vietnam's capitol around 9:00 p.m. local time and Trump was greeted with a red carpet ceremony with several local dignitaries. He was immediately taken to a luxury hotel for some R-and-R. Tomorrow, Trump will hold meetings with the president of Vietnam before the big sit-down with Kim the following day. The summit is a follow-up to their meeting in Singapore back in June and is meant to help work towards the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and certain security guarantees.
