Today, the Florida Supreme Court approved a statewide grand jury to investigate school safety.
“I am pleased with the Supreme Court’s decision to impanel a statewide grand jury to review school safety measures throughout our state," ” said Governor DeSantis."
The panel will determine if school districts fraudulently accepted state money allocated for safety and then failed to act appropriately.
Gov. DeSantis also after said, "the safety of our children is paramount. This grand jury will work to investigate practices, identify failures and recommend solutions to keep students and staff safe in our schools.”
