The Boca Raton Police Department is using the freezing temperatures experienced elsewhere in the country as an incentive. The department promoted its recruitment drive on Twitter yesterday. They shared the weather conditions in Fargo, Chicago, and Madison comparing them to the 64-degrees it was in Boca Raton. They say anyone in law enforcement who wants to escape the polar vortex can apply online to work with them instead.
