Broward's Former Elections Supervisor Drops Lawsuit

The former Supervisor of Elections in Broward sounds off after winning her legal fight against her suspension.

Dr. Brenda Snipes says she's leaving office with her head held high as Governor Ron DeSantis accepts her resignation, which ends the legal battle she was waging in federal court over her suspension from former Governor Rick Scott.

While it did cost her money, Dr. Snipes claims it was valuable to her to have her dignity and name restored.

She can now receive almost $130,000 a year in state pensions for her combined 50 years as a teacher and elected official.
