Nearly a year after the Stoneman Douglas massacre, Broward County has painted safe spaces in 60 classrooms. Max Schacter who lost his son Alex-says this isn't nearly enough, and every classroom should have had the identifiable spot when students initially returned to school after the shooting.
Broward Schools Superintendent Robert Runcie says Douglas students, teachers and staff will give feedback on the pilot program this week. The implementation of hard corners in every school should be complete by the end of February.
The accused shooter faced a judge this afternoon who set the next hearing date.
