200 Animals Rescued in Southwest Miami-Dade

Miami-Dade Police part of a multi-agency task force rescuing more than 200 animals today as part of an animal cruelty investigation. The Southwest-Dade facility in the 26000 Block of Southwest 182nd Avenue. 

Investigators say farm animals were being confined in terrible conditions, without proper shelter, food or water.  The horses, donkeys, alpacas and other animals are being treated by veterinarians.

In the past, police have removed other animals from the same property. The investigation continues while criminal charges are pending.
