On the 35th anniversary of the University of Miami winning its first national championship in football, Miami-native Manny Diaz is introduced as the team's 25th head coach.
Diaz calls it a "God story."
With his eyes on the future, the 'Canes former Defensive Coordinator has already narrowed his search for a new offensive coordinator to three finalists, and he vows to fix the quarterback situation.
He says, "We have some young guys on our campus who have shows flashes, who have that they have ability, but you don't win at the University of Miami with flashes and you don't win at the University of Miami with potential. You have to perform."
The Diaz crafted defense will continue to be tough, fast and passionate.
