Massive Fund Proposed To Settle MSD Lawsuits

A bill filed in Tallahassee would set aside 110-million-dollars to settle all of the lawsuits that are expected after the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

Broward Democrat Kristin Jacobs filed the bill this morning.

The Victim Trust Fun would be set up to help the families of the 17 people who were killed and the 17 others who survived their wounds.

The legislature will hold its annual session starting in March.
