Two women are lucky to have escaped a run-in with a man whose later arrest made national headlines.
Indiana Parra and Rimbow Gomez were on a moped in Broward County in March when they say a van driver chased them, yelled a gay slur at the lesbian couple and threw urine at them.
That man, they later found out, was Cesar Sayoc, who is now accused of sending pipe bombs to high-profile Democrats.
Gomez filed a report with Hollywood Police, but nothing came of it, and yesterday she told the Miami Herald an arrest back then may have prevented Sayoc from allegedly sending those pipe bombs.
