Missing Wisconsin Teen May Have Been Spotted In Miami-Dade?

Authorities say a teen missing out of Wisconsin may have been spotted in Miami-Dade County. 

Authorities searched Monday for a 13-year-old girl they believe is in danger after her parents were found dead in their western Wisconsin home.

Investigators said they had no leads until Monday, when according to Miami Police, a girl matching the description of the missing 13-year-old was possibly spotted at a gas station along Northwest 27th Avenue and 11th Street.

The teen was seen in a black Ford Explorer with a possible Wisconsin tag of I60WER.

An Amber Alert was issued Monday for Jayme.

She is described as 5-feet tall and 100 pounds, with strawberry-blond hair and green eyes.

Deputies say they went to the home in Barron, Wisconsin, after dispatchers received a 911 call from an unknown person at around 1 a.m. Monday. 

The bodies of Jayme Closs’ parents, who were later identified by the sheriff’s department as 56-year-old James Closs and his 46-year-old wife, Denise Closs. 

According to deputies, gunshots were involved, but it remains unclear exactly how the couple died.
