Inmates With Reversed Death Row Rulings Are Causing Havoc In Jail

Florida inmates who saw their death sentences tossed out by the Supreme Court are causing problems after being moved from Death Row to the general prison population.

According to the "Miami Herald," one inmate strangled his new cellmate, gouged out his eyeballs, sliced off his ear, and wore it as a necklace before going to breakfast.

Michael Hernandez spent a decade alone in a Death Row cell, until his sentence was overturned and he was sent to a different North Florida prison, where he allegedly attacked Larry Mark.

Last year, Hernandez and more than 100 other Death Row inmates had their death sentences vacated because of the Supreme Court ruling.
