The amount of blue-green algae in Fort Lauderdale is increasing.
Residents near the canals infected by the toxic waters are concerned that the condition could get worse.
The Florida Department of Environment Protection has already conducted more than a dozen tests in the affected canals.
So far, they say it's showing low levels of toxins.
