It Looks Like Trump's Endorsement For DeSantis Has Faded

A new poll might suggest that the luster of President Donald Trump's endorsement of Ron DeSantis for governor has faded a bit.

The survey by St. Leo University shows that Congressman DeSantis now trails Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam in the Republican race, 38-percent to 30-percent, while 27-percent of GOP voters have yet to make up their minds.

Former Congresswoman Gwen Graham leads the Democrats with 27-percent, followed by former Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine with 19-percent and Palm Beach billionaire Jeff Greene with 12-percent.

Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum and Winter Park businessman Chris King are further back, with 26-percent still undecided.
