The deadline for residents to show their support for the city of Homestead is fast approaching.
The city of Homestead is looking to get $250,000 in state grants to update the Losner park. It hopes to make Losner more accessible for children with disabilities by adding new swings, a children's playground, and a water play area.
Homstead officials say residents should send their letters of support to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection no later than August 15th.
