On Tuesday, the Miami-Dade County commission will vote on a proposal to pay the Miami Dolphins $750,000 each year if they move their training facility from Davie to new fields at Hard Rock Stadium.
The county already pays the team $5-million a year in hotel taxes after a half-billion-dollar upgrade of the stadium.
A separate deal with the city of Miami Gardens would refund the team about $500,000 a year for its higher property-tax bill.
The new practice field and front office are expected to cost the team between $50 and $75-million.
